Pat Morita gestorben

Den meisten wird Pat Morita wohl als der weise Lehrer der Karate-Kid-Filme in Erinnerung geblieben sein, aber der Darsteller war neben der Serie "Happy Days" auch die Stimme des Kaisers in "Mulan" - Teil I und II - und auch in einigen SF-Serien zu sehen. "The Incredible Hulk", "The Man from Atlantis", "Space Rangers" und "Outer Limits". Heute wurde bekanntgegeben, dass Pat Morita bereits am Donnerstag im Alter von 73 Jahren verstorben ist.

  2. Danke Chris, dass du uns an diesen wunderbaren Schauspieler erinnerst.

    Pat Morita hat mir gezeigt, dass KARATE auch eine ansehnliche "weiche" Kampfsportart sein kann, so wie Tai Chi.
    Ganz anders als in diesen Aggressivo-Machofilmen mit Nils Lofgren, Jean-Claude van Damme, Bruce Lee und wie sie alle heißen.

  6. Als ich klein war hab ich oft KARATE KID angeschaut!Jetzt bin ich erwachsen und hab mir die dvd-box KARATE KID 1-3 gekauf und schaue diese wundervollen filme immer noch an.     Es gibt auch noch einen vierten Teil von Karate Kid, zwar nicht mehr mit Ralph deMaggio, sondern mit einer jungen Schauspielerin,deren Name mir jetzt grad nicht einfällt, aber auch gut anzusehen.

  9. Ich kann es nur wiederholen: RIP Pat Morita.

    Die Karate-Kid-Filme gehören bei den meisten Menschen zu den schönen Jugend-Erinnerungen.
    Mit Humor wurde gezeigt, dass Karate mehr ist als ein "Kampfsport", sondern eine Einstellung zum Leben und den Mitmenschen gegenüber.

    hab bei Lokalisten eine Pat Morita Gedenkgruppe gegründet, also falls ihr angemeldet seid tretet doch ein.
    Ich vermisse seinen einzigartigen Stil zu Schauspielern. Ich finds furchtbar das die meisten noch nicht mal wissen das er tot ist, geschweige denn das es ihn jemals gab.
